Our partnership with J.D. Power and Associates enables you to offer consumers JDPower.com Power Circle Ratings before making a decision on which vehicle to purchase. Power Circle Ratings measure consumer perceptions of automotive new-vehicle quality after 90 days of ownership and after 3 years of ownership. Power Circle Ratings are based on the opinions of consumers who have actually owned or operated the vehicle being rated.
Automotive buyers can research car makes and models in our comprehensive Research Center prior to visiting a dealership showroom and get pertinent information on Initial Quality, Performance/Design and Dependability. Each area is scored as ‘Among the best’, ‘Better than most’, ‘About average’ and ‘The rest’.
Initial Quality Ratings are based on the first 90 days of new-vehicle ownership and cover issues that caused a complete breakdown or malfunction or features that worked as designed, but were hard to use.
Performance/Design Ratings measure owner satisfaction with the design, style, features and performance of their new vehicles.
The Dependability Ratings measure customer satisfaction with the first 3 years of new-vehicle ownership and any problems that caused a complete breakdown or malfunction of any component or feature in the vehicle.
