CARLSBAD, CA (July 14, 2009) – Adicio Inc., the leading provider of interactive classified advertising software solutions for media companies, announced the recent launch of NWhomes.com, part of The Seattle Times online network, on the Adicio Real Estate platform. This is the third Adicio platform for The Seattle Times, which has been on the Adicio Careers platform since 2003. The Seattle Times migrated both their Real Estate and Automotive platforms from another vendor this year.

The Seattle Times is utilizing Adicio’s new community and amenity search options to create a new homes section where prospective buyers who are interested in new developments can easily narrow their search results. New home buyers can access builder information, as well as community details and amenities and extensive searching tools, to help them locate their dream home.

“Having worked with Adicio on their Careers platform for many years, we knew they would be a partner we could rely on to help us achieve our online goals. In this economy, good partnerships are key to driving traffic and revenue,” said Denise Lee, Online Classifieds Product Manager for The Seattle Times.

Buyers can search on NWhomes.com for 150+ unit-specific and community/development amenities to locate their ideal new home in a community suited to their needs. Property/Unit specific amenities include more than 100 options, such as: washer/dryer in unit, air conditioning/central air, vaulted ceilings, fireplace, microwave, cable-ready and more. At the community/development level, buyers can search on 60+ amenities that are associated with all units, including amenities such as: swimming pool, gated/ security, tennis courts, housekeeping, dedicated covered parking and gym/fitness center.

Advertisers can take advantage of Featured Properties, Spotlight (targeted) ads, and Open House listings. Developers and builders can enhance their listings with Ad Enhancement options to make unique properties stand out or increase their visibility for their new homes or developments by participating in their Builder/Developer Directory.

“The Seattle Times compared features, security and stability, customer service and cost,” said Terry Baker, Chief Revenue Officer, Adicio. “In the end, they selected Adicio because we were able to address all of their requirements and provide them with a means to monetize their listings while connecting buyers and sellers in the Seattle area.”
